The next migration seminar offered jointly by MGSoG/UNU-MERIT in collaboration with MACIMIDE, will take place on Wednesday, December 5th. In this seminar, Alexander Hunns and Francesco Iacoella from UNU-MERIT will present. The seminar will be held from 12:00-13:00 in room 0.16/0.17 of the UNU-MERIT building at Boschstraat 24. A sandwich lunch will be provided. 

Marie De Somer received the ‘Ernst B. Haas Best Dissertation Award – Honorable Mention’ for her dissertation on the EU Court of Justice and its role in the area of EU immigration law.

Migrants and Refugees in the Law. Historic evolution, current situation and unsolved questions

Next Friday 5 October will take place a Symposium in honour of Prof. Dr. Hans-Ulrich Jessurun d’Oliveira at the occasion of his 85th birthday. The topic of the symposium will be the following: ‘European citizenship: A pie in the sky? Looking back on 25 years of experiences and challenges ahead’.
