Historic evolution, current situation and unsolved questions 

The Fourth International Conference is organized by the Editors-In-Chiefs of the Cátedra Internacional conjunta Inocencio III, Dr. D. Javier Belda Iniesta [Universidad Católica de Murcia], and Prof. Matteo Nacci [Pontificia Università Lateranense]. 

The “Workshop Series on Migration, Globalization and the Knowledge Economy”  is meant to advance our understanding of high skilled migration and its relationship with knowledge creation, its diffusion, and its ultimate impact on innovation.

The European Commission has awarded funding for what is probably the largest-ever European-funded research project on migration, set to start work in September 2018. 

On 25 and 26 June Karlijn Haagsman represented MACIMDE at the YERUN (Young European Research Universities Network) Research workshop on Migration and Integration hosted by Dublin City University.
