The Unity in Diversity (UID), a refugee-focused foundation in The Hague, cordially invites you to attend the Launch of “My University Cares Too” and Networking Event . 

To celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Malmö University and its recent inauguration as full university, Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare, MIM, is organizing a large international conference on the subject of refugees, borders and membership, which is free to attend. More specifically, we seek to highlight the complex and evolving relation between refugee migration, the legal and socio-cultural borders between and within states and continents, and questions of membership and belonging. 

Trans-local conflict dynamics among refugees and diaspora populations 

The Global Labor Migration Network seeks proposals for its international conference, to take place June 20-22, 2019, at the International Institute for Social History in Amsterdam. 

Applications are now warmly invited for Europe’s tidal waves: Migration and populism (please find the CfP attached). The one-day workshop will take place on the 19th June 2018 at King’s College London and is organized by the JMCE and MIGPOP Research Group (https://www.kcl.ac.uk/innovation/groups/jmce/workshops.asp). 

From 17 – 19 September 2018, the Centre for the Social Study of Migration and Refugees (CESSMIR) of Ghent University organizes its international conference on the topic of ‘Needs and Care Practices for Migrants and Refugees’ (Ghent, Belgium). 

GRITIM-UPF will support two applications for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships within the field of migration and diversity studies. Candidates with a PhD in Social Sciences are particularly encouraged to apply.
