In the upcoming migration seminar, which will take place Wednesday, 15 November, we are fortunate to welcome Roland Hosner to share his latest work with us. The migration seminar series is offered jointly by MGSoG/UNU-MERIT in collaboration with MACIMIDE, and features researchers and practitioners whose work addresses human mobility. 

In the upcoming seminar, Roland Hosner (ICMPD, UNU-MERIT) will present “Labour Market Integration of Refugees in Austria: First Findings”.  The seminar will be held from 12:00-13:00 in the UNU-MERIT building at Boschstraat 24 in room 0.16-0.17. A sandwich lunch will be provided. 
 

You are cordially invited to a TRANSMIC event* presented by CONTAINED Project. During the event, issues of migration, citizenship, rights and responsibilities will be presented in a playful and interactive way. The setting will be informal and there will be room for discussion. Following the performance, drinks and finger foods are offered. 

On 1-2 March 2018, Centre of Migration Research (University of Warsaw), organizes the IMISCOE SPRING CONFERENCE 2018 on migration and labour market; patterns and challenges of immigrants’ labour market incorporation in contemporary Europe. 

UNU-MERIT will host a conference for the United Nations University (UNU) Migration Network. Researchers from across six UNU Institutes from around the world will gather to further their research cooperation and continue to build partnerships with UN Agencies, International Organisations and Universities.

The Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FMG) of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is the largest educational and research institution in the social sciences in the Netherlands, and one of the highest-ranked such institutions in Europe.
