Vacancies: 21 Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers in the Collaborative Research Center “Production of Migration” (IMIS, University Osnabrück)

Vacancies for 21 Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers in the Collaborative Research Center „Production of Migration“ (SFB 1604)

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has recently approved the new Collaborative Research Center (CRC) ›Production of Migration‹ at Osnabrück University (press relase). In its first phase (2024-2027), the CRC will work on conceptual questions of reflexive migration studies as much in theory as in methodology and empirical research practice. This will take place in 15 innovative projects, a transfer project, the Reflexivity Lab and the Integrated Research Training Group for the CRC’s PhD students. Across disciplines and together with colleagues from Berlin/Potsdam, Flensburg, Frankfurt a.M. and Münster, the CRC examines the conditions and functions of the social production and negotiation of migration. Its aim is to establish reflexive migration research as an approach to the study of society (more information on SFB 1604).

For joint fundamental research, the CRC is recruiting colleagues from various disciplines and from all over the world!

From April 1, 2024 until December 31, 2027 the CRC is offering

18 positions for Doctoral Researchers (m/f/d) (salary level 13 TV-L, 75 %)
3 positions for Postdoctoral Researchers (m/f/d) (salary level 13 TV-L, 100 %)
