The Department for Migration and Globalisation (DEMIG) is proud to announce that it will host the IMISCOE 2025 Spring Conference in Krems between 17-19 March 2025. The call for papers can be found below. 

Please find below information on the next lecture in the Jean Monnet EU Migration Law and Governance Lecture series convened by Lilian Tsourdi in the framework of a Jean Monnet Chair she holds at the Law Faculty.

The ERC research project “GRABS- Growing Up Across Borders”, hosted by the Université Paris 8, is looking for two doctoral and two postdoctoral candidates. 

The Odysseus Academic Network and the think tank European Policy Centre have been collaborating in the framework of the project “What next for EU migration and asylum policies after the New Pact?”, which provides analysis and reflections on the implementation of the New Pact reforms and other related files.

Come to discuss lessons learned on fostering environmental and migration changemakers and hear directly from the students who participated in the project at the MigratieMuseumMigration. 

On Thursday, June 20 at 1PM ET, the Center for Migration Studies of New York (CMS) will host a webinar and discussion in honor of World Refugee Day.

Call for Abstracts  

The Workstream “Ensuring migrant protection through strengthened responses to migrant smuggling and increased coordination on its linkages with trafficking in persons” was established under the framework of the Global Compact on Migration. It supports the implementation of initiatives against the smuggling of migrants, especially where it intersects with trafficking in persons.
