GLOCAL Hot Spot seminar: Gender and intersectionality in migration research 

3rd Research Conference on Forced Displacement 

On behalf of the EMN and the Red Cross EU Office, we are pleased to invite you to the launch event unveiling our new Inform on ‘Practices and challenges in processing victims of torture and ill-treatment in the context of international and temporary protection’ on 17 September 2024, 09.30 – 13.30 (CEST).

On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, in cooperation with Studium Generale, ITEM organises a lecture series in which we look back at 10 years of developments in cross-border cooperation and mobility.

This 2-day Conference co-organised by the Institute for Transnational and Euregional cross-border cooperation and Mobility (ITEM) as well as the Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network (TEIN) and supported by the Borders in Globalization-21st century project, addresses the practical challenges and prospects of future cross-border cooperation and mobility and advances debates and policy outlooks around and beyond the concept of horizontal integration.

There is an opening for a Ph.D. student linked to the research project ‘Escaping Segregation: A Longitudinal Analysis of Socio-Spatial mobility, neighborhood policy and immigrant integration in Malmö and Copenhagen’ in Lund University. The PhD student will work in this project in collaboration with other project members.
