The Maastricht Centre for Citizenship, Migration and Development (MACIMIDE) is pleased to announce the addition of dr. Mark Levels to the Executive Board of MACIMIDE effective immediately.

About the speaker 

In August 2016, Melissa Siegel was appointed Professor of Migration Studies at Maastricht University. Prof. Siegel leads the Migration and Development research theme at UNU-MERIT and its School of Governance.

We are very fortunate to welcome Dr. Adrian Shin back to the migration seminar series. The migration seminar series, which is offered jointly by MGSoG/UNU-MERIT in collaboration with MACIMIDE, features researchers and practitioners whose work addresses human mobility. 

The research project Migrant Life Course and Legal Status Transition (MiLifeStatus) has launched a new website. The website www.milifestatus.com presents information about the research, publications, videos, and news updates. 

The Migration Studies Group aims to change attitudes to migrants and refugees, as Professor Dr Melissa Siegel explains.

The kick-off conference is a closed working conference. We have a limited number of places for external participants who want to attend the plenary part of the conference and the post-conference drinks and dinner.
