Call for papers: Citizenship in Displacement – Policies, Practices, and Lived Experience
We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the workshop “Citizenship in Displacement: Policies, Practices and Lived Experiences”, to be held on 25-26 June 2026 in Tangier, Morocco.
Jointly organised by the IMISCOE Standing Committee on Migration Citizenship and Political Participation, the SNSF project Humans or Citizens? Forced Migrants’ Access to Political Rights and the nccr – on the move, the 2-day workshop will explore how citizenship is reconfigured, negotiated, and contested in contexts of displacement.
Abstracts (max 250 words) should be sent by 31 January 2026 to sara.deathouguia@unine.ch. Authors will be notified by 15 February 2026.
