Recent years have seen migration rise to the top of political agendas around the world. In December 2018 states adopted two Global Compacts, one on migration and one on refugees, establishing roadmaps for the future of international cooperation relevant to population movements.

The Center for Migration Studies of New York (CMS) and the University of Notre Dame will hold the 2020 Catholic Immigrant Integration Initiative Conference on Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2, 2020. Out of an abundance of caution for all who would like to participate, this year’s conference will take place virtually.

UNU-MERIT and its School of Governance were commissioned by France Médias Monde to carry out a monitoring and evaluation of the multimedia platform Infomigrants.net.

At UM, the Maastricht Centre for Citizenship, Migration and Development (MACIMIDE) offers expertise and research on many different aspects of migration and provides extensive information on the migrant situation all over the world from societal, humanitarian, medical and economic perspectives.

UNU-MERIT and its School of Governance were recently commissioned by the Danish Refugee Council’s (DRC) Diaspora Programme to provide support within their “Networks-led national Diaspora dialogue in Europe” project.
