On 13 and 14 November 2025, the Leuphana University Lüneburg is organizing the workshop The Role of Law and Courts in Migration Politics. 

We invite abstracts for a workshop that seeks to explore the forefront of research on the nature of migration aspirations and related concepts. That is, how can we conceptualize and empirically examine people’s thoughts and feelings about potentially migrating? 

The Moebius Project invites everyone to workshop on the theme “The Transformation of EU Borders in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Challenges for Fundamental Rights and the Rule of Law.” It will be held online on septembre 18th 2025 from 2pm to 5 pm CEST. 

The IMISCOE Standing Committee “Methodological Approaches and Tools in Migration Research” (Meth@Mig) in collaboration with the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies invites researchers of any methodological orientation to participate in the 5th Annual Meth@Mig Workshop. 

We are pleased to share information on the in-person short course on Research Methods in the Refugee and Forced Migration Field by the Refugee Law Initiative (RLI), University of London, that will run in March 2026. Please note the deadline to apply for a place is 6th February 2026.
