The Role of Heritage during Migration and Displacement 

A Symposium and Workshop to be held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst 

Radboud University Nijmegen is organizing a summer school on ‘Citizenship and Migration: Europe’s 21^st century challenges’ for advanced bachelor and master students.

In a world flooded with information from a multitude of sources, providing, managing and making sense of knowledge to build more robust policies is highly challenging. Using evidence in policymaking is a complex task demanding a set of distinct skills and mutual understanding between researchers and policymakers. 

From July 21^st to 26^th 2018, the International Political Science Association will hold its 25^th World Congress in Brisbane (Australia). We invite you to share your research on issues to which political science can bring important insights. It is an opportunity to once again demonstrate the relevance of political science to political practice.

The kick-off conference is a closed working conference. We have a limited number of places for external participants who want to attend the plenary part of the conference and the post-conference drinks and dinner. 

A large number of MACIMIDE researchers will present their work at the upcoming 14th Annual Conference of IMISCOE, Europe’s largest network of scholars in the area of migration and integration. MACIMIDE is one of IMISCOE’s 38 member institutes. The 14th Annual Conference of IMISCOE will take place in Rotterdam on June 28-30 and focus on Migration, Diversity and the City (the full program of the conference can be found here).
