The WIDER Development Conference on migration and mobility, jointly organized with the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA), will take place on 5-6 October 2017 in Accra, Ghana. 

On June 16th and 17th, 2017 the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (www.roa.nl) at Maastricht University organises a workshop devoted to the topic of Human capital and regional development. This mini-conference is organised in collaboration with Neimed, Dutch Centre of Expertise on Demographic Change (www.neimed.nl), Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (www.zuyd.nl) and the Institute for Transnational and Euregional cross border cooperation and Mobility (www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/item). 

The Research and Information Center on Immigrant Integration (CDCDI) of the Romanian Association for Health Promotion (ARPS), launches the call for applications to its International Summer School on migration to be held in July 2017. 

The 6th Annual Peacemakers Conference and Workshop is organized jointly by the Office of International Programs (OIP) and the Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoç). The Conference will take place on July 8 and the ensuing Workshop on July 9 – 11, 2017 in Istanbul.

The Office of the President of the General Assembly has requested the assistance of GMG members in disseminating information on the special accreditation process for multi-stakeholder participation in the preparatory process for the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration. 

At this two-day conference the preliminary results of the ITN network TRANSMIC(Transnational Migration, Citizenship and the Circulation of Rights and Responsibilities) will be presented to a broad audience. The conference will offer ample opportunities for discussion of these results, and will also include keynote speakers both from within and outside of the TRANSMIC network.
