Welcome to Maria Vivas Romero, new MACIMIDE Junior Visiting Fellow

Her dissertation looks into how ageing migrant domestic workers’ negotiate their access social protection through formal and informal mechanisms, across and within national borders. At MACIMIDE Maria works on a project entitled Who cares for those who cared? An Ethnography on Ageing Domestic-Workers’ Transnational Negotiations for Social Protection, under the supervision of Valentina Mazzucato, MACIMIDE Theme Leader on Transnational Families. The MACIMIDE fellowship will last between 1 April 2016 and 30 June 2016.
