Vacancy: Four PhD grants on Democratic Governance
The Politics Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel is recruiting 4 PhD students within the broad domain of “Democratic Governance”. Deadline = June 30th. Six topics have been advanced by our research team:
- Democratic myopia and the environment/climate/sustainable development
- Brussels’ youth: enacting citizenship
- Opposition to gender equality in Western Europe
- Diversity politics in universities: gendered and racialized normativities
- Multiculturalism, post-secularism, and the politicization of ethical debates
- Disadvantaged groups’ feelings of being (mis)represented
