Call for papers & posters: ARC-UNHCR Conference on Refugee Studies & Forced Displacement 2026
We are now accepting paper and poster submissions on a broad range of topics related to refugees and displaced populations. This year, we also welcome research focusing on stateless persons.
Suggested themes include (but are not limited to):
- Protection and Legal Frameworks for Refugees and Stateless Persons
- Livelihoods, Health and Education for Refugees and Stateless Persons
- Empowerment, Agency, and Community-Led Advocacy Among Stateless and Displaced Groups
- Mobility, Borders, and Regional Cooperation in Refugee and Statelessness Governance
- Public Perceptions, Media Narratives, and Social Attitudes Toward Refugees and Stateless Persons
Submission Details:
- Researchers, scholars, policymakers, practitioners, civil society organisations, and individuals with lived experience are invited to submit proposals for paper or poster presentations.
- We welcome multidisciplinary approaches and original contributions from various fields of study.
- The submission deadline is 28 February 2026.
