Narratives are increasingly recognised as central to migration politics and policymaking. The next MPC seminar will feature a presentation by James Dennison, offering an overview of the latest research advances on migration narratives. 

In this hybrid research seminar on Wednesday 26th March 2025 at 12:00-13:00 CET, Giulia Briselli —a Postdoctoral Scholar at ESCP Business School, Paris Campus. — will present her research titled “One Bed, Two Dreams: Female Migration, Conservative Norms and Foreign Brides in South Korea”. 

Join this event as Louis Volante examines how international large-scale assessments (ILSAs), particularly the Programme in International Student Assessment (PISA), shape global education governance agendas. 

When individuals from a migration background travel ‘home’, they may be motivated by grand and important intentions to maintain connections.

Focusing on Hard-to-Reach populations, the course provides an introduction to research methods in conducting research, both qualitative and quantitative, on marginal, hidden and excluded population.
