The international conference “Gender and Migration: Critical Issues and Policy Implications” will be held at Gediz University in Izmir, Turkey on 11-14 May 2016. The conference is organised by Gediz University Gender Development Studies Centre (GENDES), Coventry University – UK, Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations – UK, and Michigan State University – USA. 

The final INTEGRIM conference on “Integration and International Migration” will take place in Bilbao on July 6-8, 2016 (University of Deusto). The idea is to address the topic not only with academic papers, but a photo installation of the “Refugee Hotel” project by Gabriele Stabile and with screenings of short documentaries.

MEASURES OF CONTROL: 
MANAGING MIGRATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY (IMISCOE SPRING CONFERENCE 2016). 

The Research and Information Center on Immigrant Integration (CDCDI) of the Romanian Association for Health Promotion (ARPS), launches the call for its 3rd international conference on migration, to be held in Bucharest, on 10 – 11 November 2016. The topics of this edition are included under the broader theme “Changing migration policies: national perspectives and supra-national strategies”. We welcome papers from a variety of disciplines focusing on issues related to the design, implementation and impact evaluation of migration policies.
