About 

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) are organizing the second International Forum on Migration Statistics (IFMS), in Cairo, Egypt, 20-21 January 2020. The Forum will be hosted by the Egyptian Government, which currently chairs the African Union (AU), under the auspices of the AU.  
 

The New-Med Research Network accepts applications from young professionals from African and Middle Eastern countries interested in submitting and presenting papers on Opportunities and Challenges in Africa (deadline 10 December 2019).

Call for Papers for the 17th IMISCOE Annual Conference is open. 

There is increasing awareness that racism and discrimination hamper the opportunities to enjoy social mobility and quality of life for many immigrants and ethnic minority people. Simultaneously, while xenophobic political parties continue to gain presence across Europe, in several regions, interculturalism remains unquestioned as the dominant approach to diversity.

The Call for Papers for the 7th Euroacademia International Conference ‘Re-Inventing Eastern Europe – 30 Years from the Revolutions in Central and Eastern Europe’, to be held at the Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic on 13^th and 14^th of December 2019 is now open. 

As a key member of the IMISCOE Migration Politics and Governance (MigPoG) Standing Committee (SC), the Migration Policy Centre will hold the First Mid-Term Conference on ‘Migration politics and governance: understanding the relationships’ on 26-27 March 2020 at the European University Institute in Florence.
