Abstract: 

This session aims to critically reflect and take stock of major policy achievements and failures in developing cooperative migration policies between European and African countries over the past two decades.

When individuals from a migration background travel ‘home’, they may be motivated by grand and important intentions to maintain connections.

The DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre ›Production of Migration‹ (SFB 1604) examines the conditions and functions of the social production and negotiation of migration across disciplines.

The doctoral seminar is organised within the framework of the Odysseus Summer School. Only those who have registered for the Summer School by paying the applicable fees are eligible to participate.
