The Mobility Trajectories of Young Lives (MO-TRAYL) project launches e-book ‘Finding Your Voice: An intercultural storytelling workshop with young people’

Finding Your Voice is the product of a collaborative endeavor between researchers, a literary author, and young people. It recounts a three-day storytelling workshop organized in June 2019 as a way to ‘give back’ to young people of Ghanaian background who participated in the MO-TRAYL project, which seeks to understand the lives of young people growing up in various countries. The book presents young people’s stories, in their own voice, along with those by MO-TRAYL researchers. In addition, Finding Your Voice includes interviews with Ghanaian author and workshop facilitator, Franka Maria Andoh, and MO-TRAYL project lead investigator, Prof. Valentina Mazzucato, as well as reflections by the researchers and practical information for others interested in holding a similar workshop with young people. The book’s illustrations are created by Enoch Yaw Mensah and Christine Opheij.
