Prof. Melissa Siegel Publishes a new Country Case Study on India
In this series Melissa Siegel looks at migration in India over three videos. The first video examines the history of Indian Migration, she examines the impact of colonialism on migration as well as the 1947 partition before moving on to the more modern migration history. In the second video Prof. Siegel looks at the national institutions that govern migration, the applicable legislation and the binding international law; later on in the video Melissa examines the engagement of the Indian Government with diaspora and the role of international organisations in Indian migration.
