Job vacancy: Departmental Lecturership in Migration and Development – Oxford Department of International Development (ODID)

The Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) invite applications for a Departmental Lecturership in Migration and Development.

Applications are invited for a Departmental Lecturership in Migration and Development. This full-time post is to start on 1 September 2015 and is tenable until 31 August 2017.

The postholder will be responsible to the Head of ODID and the Course Director of the MSc in Migration Studies. The appointment will be associated with the International Migration Institute (IMI). Duties, primarily in relation to the MSc in Migration Studies degree (and other ODID Masters degrees where appropriate) include: teaching on core courses; supervising students; teaching optional courses on migration and development; engaging in examining and assessment; participating in graduate student admissions processes; conducting independent research on migration and development; writing research articles for publication; co-operating in the administrative work of IMI; and contributing to ODID’s research programme.
