Five tenure-track posts of professor/associate professor in the New Social Research (NSR) programme for the fixed term of five years

The University of Tampere is a lively research environment with a staff of 2.200 and 15.000 students and with a strong emphasis on the study of topical societal phenomena.

The University of Tampere has established a multidisciplinary New Social Research (NSR) programme in order to strengthen its profile in social research.
The NSR programme concentrates on the following themes:

1. governing complexity
2. transformation of agency and empowerment
3. changing work
4. future of well-being
5. new forms of communication, information and interaction

Research on these themes is carried out across disciplinary and faculty boundaries, and in cooperation with decision-makers and research participants both nationally and internationally. More information on the NSR is available at the  programme website.
