Invitation: EU Citizenship@25: Main Achievements and Future Challenges
The Centre for Migration Law of the Radboud University Nijmegen organizes a two days seminar on the topic of EU citizenship on 28 & 29 June 2018. The seminar aims to take stock of where we stand 25 years after the introduction of EU citizenship and the rights of EU citizens by focusing on the role of Directive 2004/38 in the governance of EU citizenship rights. The programme builds on two research projects of the Centre: the monitoring of the implementation of Directive 2004/38 at the national level which is part of CMR’s 2015-2018 Centre of Excellence work programme and EXPULCIT, a project that looks into the theoretical and practical aspects of expelling EU citizens in an area of common citizenship.
As a limited number of places is available, registration is obligatory. Please register by sending an email to Ms Kim Gildeman (k.gildeman@jur.ru.nl) before 15 June.
