IMISCOE Spring Conference

On 1-2 March 2018, Centre of Migration Research (University of Warsaw), organizes the IMISCOE SPRING CONFERENCE 2018 on migration and labour market; patterns and challenges of immigrants’ labour market incorporation in contemporary Europe.

The following keynote speakers have confirmed their participation in the conference: Professor Alan Barrett (Economic and Social Research Institute, Dublin), Professor Costanza Biavaschi (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), Professor Stephen Drinkwater (University of Roehampton, London), Dr. Thomas Liebig (OECD).

There is two stage submission procedure: (1) abstracts for initial selection; (2) full papers.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: 30th of November 2017

Please submit by email at conference.migration@uw.edu.pl an abstract (maximum 500 words) that addresses the topic of this conference. Contributions from economists and quantitative researchers are particularly welcome.

Please, include in your abstract the following:

  • Title of the paper
  • Presenter(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Theoretical concepts/ data/ methods
  • Results/ main argument
  • Contact details (e-mail, address, phone number)
Notification of acceptance of your abstract and invitation to submit full paper: 20th of December 2017
Deadline for submission of full papers: 1st of February 2018.
