Abstract
Children affected by conflict urgently need and deserve access to quality education. Currently, in some countries, a whole generation of children, eager to learn, is missing out this opportunity. In many countries, traditional education is under pressure or not available for every child. However, meaningful and impactful education cannot wait. This is where the Can’t Wait to Learn Program (CWTL) steps in. This presentation will show how such an innovative e-learning program can be implemented to give vital learning opportunities to vulnerable children affected by conflict, and to those children living in neighboring countries which attract many refugees, and whose ministries of Education struggle to provide quality education for their own community and refugee children. This presentation will also highlight the links between program development, research, and active networks of partners which are essential elements of the CWTL program.
