Extended Deadline for Submissions to the Odysseus Prizes

The “Odysseus” Academic Network for Legal Studies on Migration and Asylum in Europe extends the deadline for submissions to the two Odysseus Prizes until the 1st of November 2017. The prizes reward authors of outstanding publications on issues in immigration and asylum law in the EU. The Network calls upon authors to submit their works; publishers can also submit a book or paper on behalf of the author.

The Best Publication Prize rewards established researchers while the second targets Early Career researchers. Apart of the prizes of 1,000 € each, the winners will have their works largely promoted on the Odysseus website, in our newsletter and social medias. To give maximum visibility to their work, they will furthermore be invited, on top of the award ceremony and dinner, as speaker to events like the Odysseus Annual Conference or Summer School.

Last year winners were Cathryn Costello, Marie-Bénédicte Dembour and Violeta Moreno-Lax as you will see below. To be eligible, the book or paper must have been published in 2016 in any of the EU+ languages. For further information, please click the button below.
