The Department of Law and Legal Studies of Carleton University invites applications from qualified candidates for a preliminary (tenure track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2016.

The Department of Law and Legal Studies invites applications from qualified candidates in critical migration, refugee, and immigration law and policy. The qualified candidate will be expected to conduct research, teach, and supervise in one or more of the following areas: global migration, detention, and border control; Canadian refugee and immigration law in a transnational context; transnational “crimmigration” and securitization; and, citizenship, deportation, movements, and the boundaries of community.
