29/09/2017 CReAM/RWI Workshop on the Economics of Migration

On September 29-30, 2017, CReAM (Centre for Research & Analysis of Migration at University College London) and RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research organize a workshop on the ‘Economics of Migration’ in Essen, Germany. The aim of the workshop is to bring together young and experienced researchers to present and discuss their work in the broad area of migration economics. Both empirical and theoretical contributions are welcome. The workshop will be organized in a matter designed to foster interaction among the participants in a relaxed atmosphere.

The keynote lecture will be given by Jennifer Hunt (Rutgers University).

Researchers interested in participating should submit a paper or an extended abstract in pdf format to migrationworkshop@rwi-essen.de . The submission deadline is July 1, 2017. Young researchers are particularly encouraged to apply. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by July 24, 2017.

There is no participation fee. Participants do have to cover the costs for travel and accommodation. Accommodation at reasonable prices will be available at the workshop venue.
