CfP: Gender and Migration: Critical Issues and Policy Implications”, Izmir, Turkey. Deadline: 01/04/2016

The international conference “Gender and Migration: Critical Issues and Policy Implications” will be held at Gediz University in Izmir, Turkey on 11-14 May 2016. The conference is organised by Gediz University Gender Development Studies Centre (GENDES), Coventry University – UK, Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations – UK, and Michigan State University – USA.

This interdisciplinary conference is open for paper proposals across disciplines on themes such as mass migration of Syrians, gendered causes and implications of migration, refugees and gender, human trafficking, domestic workers, migration policies, home and host country implications of migration, among others. Panels will be both in English and Turkish.
