Multiple Approaches to Migration: Challenges at Origin and Destination

Monday 22 June – Friday 3 July 2015
How would migration look from a legal, economic, demographic or sociological perspective?Migration is a critical issue for governments at all levels, and both sending and receiving societies. If you are interested in studying migration challenges and opportunities for countries of origin and destination from a number of different disciplinary perspectives, looking into the gendered aspects of migration policy, the challenges of cultural diversity in Europe, the emerging field of social remittances, and the impact of migration on demography and labour markets, why not join the 11th Migration Summer School?

In addition to the lectures and workshops, participants in the Summer School will have the opportunity to attend the Migration Policy Centre’s Annual Conference and interact with a variety of migration stakeholders.

The call for applications is now open for the 11th Migration Summer School: Multiple Approaches to Migration: Challenges at Origin and Destination, which will take place in Florence, Italy from Monday 22 June until Friday 3 July 2014.

A limited number of scholarships are available by application.
