Call for Applications: MACIMIDE Junior Fellowship

MACIMIDE Junior Fellowship

The Maastricht Centre for Citizenship, Migration and Development (MACIMIDE) invites applications for Junior Visiting Fellowships.

The Fellowship

Junior Fellows are will engage in collaborative work with members of MACIMIDE along one of the four research themes:

  • Migration and Development
  • Transnational Families
  • Cross-border Mobility
  • Citizenship and Immigrant Integration

The duration of fellowships is between 3 and 6 months. The Centre is able to cover only administrative costs related to affiliation and workplace.


In order to qualify for a MACIMIDE Junior Fellowship the applicants should have not been awarded a PhD degree by June 1st, 2014.


Applicants should prepare a short research proposal and they should indicate the period in which they wish to visit MACIMIDE, the MACIMIDE Research Theme in which their  project falls, the Faculty where they wish to carry out the project, and (if known) the Research Leader with whom they wish to work during the fellowship.
