Registration is now open for the conference: “Between narratives and reality: The EU at the gates of a new mandate”.

The Law Faculty of Maastricht University and Studio Europa Maastricht are organising an academic conference in the context of the incoming new term of the European Parliament and European Commission in Maastricht on 20 and 21 June 2024. The conference explores how the ‘big narratives’ of the EU relate to what the EU actually does. Panel Session III “Borders and Membership” is dedicated to migration-related topics. The keynote will be given by the European Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly.
