About the Lecture:

The European Skills Agenda and similar initiatives highlight the urgency of addressing labour market challenges in the context of an ageing population. This lecture critically examines two key approaches to skill shortages:

  1. Migration, ensuring a sustainable influx of essential skills.
  2. Technological Advancements, such as automation and AI.

Our speakers will also explore innovative and alternative solutions to enhance the resilience of European labour markets, drawing upon insights from the Horizon Europe project FutuRes.
