Please find below information on the next lecture (panel event) in the Jean Monnet EU Migration Law and Governance Lecture series convened at the Law Faculty by Lilian Tsourdi. The series is organised in cooperation with the research centers and groups MCEL, MACIMIDE and Glaw-NET. The event is taking place on Monday 20th January from 15:30-17:00 CET and it launches a special journal issue titled ‘Migration Governance Through Funding: Theoretical, Normative, and Empirical Perspectives’. It will feature Sabrineh Ardalan, Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic, Harvard Law School (special issue author); Lilian Tsourdi, Associate Professor and Jean Monnet Chair in EU Migration Law and Governance, Law Faculty, Maastricht University, (special issue co-editor); Andreina De Leo, Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) within the Marie Curie Doctoral programme ‘LIMES – The Hardening and Softening of Borders: Europe in a Globalising World’, Law Faculty, Maastricht University, (special issue author), and Federica Zardo, Senior Researcher, Department for Migration and Globalisation, University for Continuing Education Krems, (special issue co-editor).
