18/03/2024 – Workshop: How can we build stronger, more effective engagement between migration researchers and policymakers? (EUI)
Migration is highly politicised, with misinformation undermining the value of expertise and evidence. To address this, the Migration Research to Policy Co-Lab is bringing together experts from politics, journalism, and policy analysis in a panel to explore the complexities of migration narratives.
The debate, ‘Information Wars: The Search for the Truth on Immigration‘, will be moderated by Andrew Geddes and feature:

- Nikolaj Nielsen, Reporter, EUobserver
- Alberto Horst Neidhardt, Senior Policy Analyst and Head of the European Diversity and Migration Programme, European Policy Centre
This event will also host the launch of the Engagement Hub, a new resource that offers diverse engagement strategies for researchers and policy actors to bridge the divide between evidence, policy, and public discourse.
