15th Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health

“Protecting Migrants and Refugees During Pandemics”

September 1-24, 2020

We are thrilled to announce the 2020 Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health will take place virtually over 4 weeks in September. Sessions will be live every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am – 11:00am PDT.

During the eight sessions of the Institute, participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts about how national and international policies and practices related to COVID-19 have impacted migrant and refugee populations in Europe, the Americas, and other world regions. They will also learn about best practices to outreach and provide services to mobile populations during pandemics.

The Summer Institute will be in English and Spanish and participants will have access to a virtual classroom where they will be able to watch the recorded sessions at their convenience, access complementary materials, and participate in discussion forums related to the topics presented.
