Interactive discussion on the trade-off between liberty and security

Organized by Student Representatives FASoSOrakel and E.S.A. Concordantia

The tragic events in Paris have made the debate of Security versus Liberty ever more pertinent. Is there a need for tighter security screening? Does this infringe on our liberties? Student Representatives FASoS, Orakel and E.S.A. Concordantia will organise an interactive discussion on these and many more questions in the Turnzaal on Wednesday 9 December, 18.15-20.45. FASoS Dean Prof. Rein de Wilde will open the event. All invited, free entrance.

Experts will discuss the matter and you are highly encouraged to add your insights and opinions. There will be a break during the evening and Banditos serve free drinks.

Date: 9 december 2015

Time: 18.15-20.45

Place: FASoS Lecture Hall (Turnzaal), GG 90-92
